The Zippity is recommended for children ages 3 to 5. This is an interactive toy that combines educational games and body movement. Zippity has eight different games that actually exercise the body. There are tasks like running, dancing, jumping and many more.

And there is a ‘bopper’, that it is designed to exercise the upper body parts. This game is very easy to use and there are eight games and there is also a mat and a bopper that is controlled through the Zippity without wires.

The Zippity is an interactive educational video game that is designed for pre-schoolers. It has some movements like dancine and jumping which are fun for children and they engage their interest. The system has a main unit and a console that is connected to the TV screen with a video/audio input.

For the two devices to work you need four C batteries and a Philips screwdriver to put them inside.

The main unit is actually something like a huge joystick. So, children interact with the console and they are required to move while playing. They dance and jump and in general they move a lot. The mat is quite big and it has many colored sections. The bopper is like a joystick that is aimed to work the upper body.

The Zippity has eight games and all of them have Disney characters that children love. All the games are ideal to teach children various skills including listening and following directions.

In the beginning the game system has Mickey which gives you the instructions of the game. Then, there are instructions for all the games and they all have Disney characters that give you instructions.

Apart from listening, more skills like memory and coordination are developed with the various games. There are many games like ’Darby’s Honey Pot Jam’, ’Goofy’s Fancy dancing’, June’s Twist n’ Twirl’.

In each of the games the child is supposed to do some moves, or go to a specific colour on the mat or push the bopper in a specific direction.

Apart from everything else children get the chance to learn even more things through the games. They learn to distinguish colors, numbers and letters. Also, they learn important facts from the various cultures like composers or cities.

There are games like Handy Manny where children learn a few words from Spanish. Moreover, in ‘Super Sleuths on the case’ children learn how to solve mysteries with Winnie the Pooh going around and gathering clues.

Also, there is the ‘learning path’ a very helpful system which gives you all the information you need for the learning skills that the Leapfrog Zippity will provide to your child. On top of that, there is Learning Path website which is very detailed and you will find there everything about the LeapFrog systems, including of course, the Zippity.

We think, however, that the website is most likely to help you with other toys that have to do with Internet access. The Leapfrog Zippity is not one such game.
